About.
Drury Walker (who sometimes adopted the false identity of Cameron van Cleer) was a billionaire who ran through his fortune trying to become the “anti-Batman” of Gotham’s criminal underworld. Perhaps it’s because he’s otherwise well-adjusted and doesn’t share the psychoses that many of his supervillainous peers in Gotham City do, or perhaps it’s because he was in it for the wrong reasons, biut Drury was never truly able to make it as an A-list villain in Gotham City, His colorful costume, plus being taken down so easily by Batgirl and Robin early in their careers solidified his reputation of being nothing more than a joke, not to be taken seriously by anyone, hero or villain. Though he tried creating a few team-ups of his own in his time - once with Firefly, who was too hot even for Drury to handle, later with a group called the Misfits, which consisted of Calendar Man and Catman and other third-stringers.
When all of this failed, he went solo again for a little while, but of course it didn’t last for too long. He was thwarted time and again by the likes of Batgirl and even Batman himself.
Eventually, Drury once again formed his own gang, consisting of Ratcatcher, Mr. Zsasz, Solomon Grundy, and Firefly; all marketing themselves as enforces to the city’s organized crime families. However, their pitch was less than successful and they were immediately apprehended by the Gotham Knights.
Drury soon came to the conclusion that he was better off not trying to be one of the greats, but instead doing what he did best - working as a parasite, taking what he could from other crime scenes that Batman was at. He found that it ultimately made for a happier, easier, though perhaps less glamorous, life.
Powers and Abilities
Killer Moth has no superhuman abilities; he relies on the vast array of equipment he has developed. Killer Moth’s range of gimmicks includes a Mothmobile, a Moth-Signal, and a steel line, which allows him to swing through the skies as if he were flying. He carries a cocoon gun that fires a stream of sticky threads that can totally envelop a victim. The gun can also fire a grenade.
First impressions.
Visual. Drury Walker is good-looking in a bland, forgettable way, with a muss of wavy brown hair, brown eyes, and a strong (some would say punchable) jawline. He's unassuming out of costume, and very much more eye-catching in his colourful Killer Moth costume. Early on, the costume was purple, green, and orange, though now he's taken to wearing a more subdued Killer Moth suit in various shades of grey and purple.
Fashion. Super casual outside of costume - shirts, t-shirts, jeans. All very basic and unassuming, like he shops at The Gap outlet or something.
Demeanor. Now that he's more comfortable being a third-rate villain, he's a fairly pleasant guy who likes coming home to his cat after making a score, playing a video game, maybe ordering in take-out. As a villain, he tends to be snarky and makes bad decisions with team-ups sometimes, though that's lessened currently, where he's happy not trying to catch anyone's eye.
